Post: SH SDC - High School

    Posted by Mary on 8/02/08

This is my first class as SH-SDC High School Teacher, I am
at a completely new site with new School Admin.& Staff. For
18 years. I have been a several different programs within
our county as an Aide. In a few days, I will be meeting
with the Autism Specialist and Behaviorist to discuss one
student’s transition as a 9th grader, and then meet the
    student and his parents.

I am little concerned because I am the 'new one'.

I am open to any suggestions on how I can encourage and gain
trust of the parents and staff. I want the student to
understand the classroom routine and structure and be
successful in this transition. I want to assure everyone
involved that I will do my best to keep the best.

I feel think I need a plan, any ideas?
