Post: Anyone ever attended Grand Canyon U. for Spec Ed?

Posted by Toni Hall on 8/14/08

I am thinking about applying for Grand Canyon Univ's Online
M.Ed. program in Special Ed which is eligible for a
credential (in AZ), but I need to apply for a CA
Mild/Moderate Spec Ed credential. I contacted CTC and they
said that GCU could supply a letter verifying that my
student teaching covered mild to moderate focus, and then I
would be able to obtain a CA credential.

I am wondering if any teacher out there has had experience
with this? And what kinds of hoops did you have to jump
through, if any? Everyone seems a little vague about this,
including CTC, and I want to get specific answers before I
    commit to the program.
