Yes, two years ago, I found my first job on edjoin. It was a
temp contract, so I'm looking again. I've had about 1/2 dozen
interviews, but no real luck.

I do wonder if my application is even viewed; sometimes it
appears that no one has looked at it and then the job is
"archived."

I keep trying, though, although I've heeded the advice of some
on this chatboard: I take my resume and letter of
introduction to the schools where I really want to work.
