Post: returning to CA with CA SPED credential- need info please!

Hello From what I have read, a lot of SPED positions this
year are now being filled by reg. ed. teachers. If I apply
to schools next year, will I have more of a chance to get a
SPED position over a reg. ed. teacher filling a space this
year?
